Red, White & Baytowne

July 4-5, 2009

Join us for our 4th of July Celebration. Enjoy a day of fun in the sun, an evening that lights up the sky and family activities all weekend long!

Conquer the Roaring River Slide from 10AM-10PM on Saturday and Sunday. We will have a Village of kids activities on Saturday from 6-10PM, including kids' crafts, facepainting, a visit from Betsy Ross and writing letters to soldiers.

Saturday night at 9:15PM, the Village of Baytowne Wharf will present a magical fireworks extravaganza illuminating the skies to celebrate our country’s Independence Day.

Come out and catch a big one at our 4th of July Kid's Fishing Rodeo on Sunday from 5-8PM. Kid’s will be divided into three categories and prizes will be awarded for the biggest and most fish caught.

Magical Mondays

Mondays; 7-9pm

Join Magician Rick Moore on the Events Plaza stage for an evening full of laughs and illusions. After the show, visit his shop to create your own magic!


Sandcastle Lessons

Mondays; 7-9pm

Artist Mark Flynn demonstrates how to make a masterpiece at the beach. Watch as he crafts amazing works of art in the sand.


Mini Gras™ & Boomin Tuesdays

Tuesdays; 7-10pm

An evening of fun and merriment at the Village with special children’s activities sprinkled throughout the events plaza. Each week, the village will crown a king and queen to throw moonpies and candy to the crowd. Then, as a special treat, our king and queen will begin the fireworks show. Every Tuesday at 9:15pm the village hosts a fireworks show over the lagoon. Participation in Mini Gras is free. Enjoy the Bouncy Castle and other inflatables with purchase of a $10 wristband.

Wristbands will be sold from 7-9pm and activities will stay open until 10pm.


Wednesday Night Concert Series

Wednesday Nights; 7-9pm

Enjoy the continuation of the Wednesday Night Concert Series through the month of July. We’ll be tantalizing your musical taste buds with musicians to entertain all of our homeowners and local guests! Village Events Plaza.

July 1- Dread Clampitt
The four person “hipbilly” band is a local favorite. Dread Clampitt takes bluegrass and turns it into a unique, one of a kind sound that they make come to life. This is a band you don’t want to miss!

July 8- J.P. Soars and the Red Hots
J.P. Soars and the Red Hots took the blues world by storm in February when they won first place at the 2009 International Blues Challenge, making them the best unsigned blues act in the world! This trio of talented musicians brings the blues alive!

July 15- Stephen Simmons
Stephen Simmons has been compared to a range of artists from Johnny Cash to Steve Earle. He is a singer/ song writer known for his keen observations of small town life, love and faith. Simmons has received rave reviews from around the world, literally, from Nashville to Denmark.

July 22- The Dents Brothers
Straight off of Bourbon Street, this New Orleans-based band brings a new approach to old school style and class. The Dents Brothers Band uses innovative harmonies and rock-solid beats that are sure to please any crowd.

July 29- Mayhem String Band
The Mayhem String Band plays outlaw bluegrass that conjures up the ghosts of Hank and Waylon by creating chaos and taming it in the same performance. These men play string music, raw and aggressive, so catch the buzz and get to dancin’.
